Am Wochenende vom 02.09.2022 bis 04.09.2022 findet der 35. Austrian Triathlon in Podersdorf am Neusiedler See statt. Podersdorf ist eine der größten Seetourismusgemeinden Österreichs und befindet sich mitten im Nationalpark Neusiedlersee. Podersdorf ist nur 54 km vom Flughafen Wien-Schwechat (VIE) entfernt.
Der Austria Triathlon zieht Athleten aus der ganzen Welt an. Diese außergewöhnliche Sportveranstaltung hat viele interessante Bewerbe im Angebot. Der Höhepunkt wird der Ironman-Bewerb sein, der am Samstag, dem 03.09.2022 ausgetragen wird. Entweder im Einzel oder in der Staffel, hier werden auch die österreichischen Meister gekürt.
Nach 3.8 km Schwimmen, folgen 180 km mit Fahrrad und anschließend noch 42 km Laufen. Es ist auch möglich, die halbe Distanz zu absolvieren!
Die Topathleten werden alles geben, um sich den Ironman Titel zu sichern. Namhafte Athleten aus dem Profiumfeld haben sich angesagt und werden von derselben Startlinie wie die Age-grouper starten.

On the weekend of 2nd to 4th September 2022, the 35th Austrian Triathlon will take place in Podersdorf on Lake Neusiedl. This prestigious event has attracted athletes from all over the world since 1988. Austria Triathlon has multiple race distances/competitions available. From the Ironman and Half Distance, to Sprint, Olympic and even a kids triathlon competition! There are great prizes at each distance including 4000EUR for the 70.3 event! Furthermore, the Austrian championship is held on this weekend as well.
The top athletes will give everything to secure the titles, with international pros committed to attend and start alongside you on this course that's renowned for its' speed due to shallow swim, and flat bike course. You can also earn PTO points for competing in these events, or just come to compete and enjoy time with friends and family in the beautiful environment.
Podersdorf is one of Austria biggest tourist communities located on Neusiedlersee, in the national park. It is also 54km or just under an hour from the airport with good public and road transport links. Furthermore, Vienna is on the doorstep with it's strong cultural history, and vibrant summer energy.
